Meet Valentina.
I’m Valentina, the designer behind Val Spaces—a boutique interior design studio based in New Orleans.
With a background in architecture and over 20 years of experience in the field, my approach to design is rooted in both structure and creativity. Before founding Val Spaces, I worked as a licensed architect in Argentina, where I developed a strong foundation in planning, spatial design, and the technical aspects of the built environment.
Today, my work focuses on creating thoughtful, layered interiors that feel both intentional and personal. I’m particularly drawn to projects that involve multiple spaces or renovations, where a cohesive vision and clear direction make the greatest impact.
Originally from Córdoba, Argentina, I moved to New Orleans in 2009—a city that continues to influence my perspective on color, character, and design.
Outside of my work, I’m a mother to two children, Lucas and Penelope, and share my home with my husband, Joe, and our two dogs, Lolo and Luna. I’m naturally creative beyond design as well, often exploring new projects through crafting, painting, and cooking.
I believe there’s something powerful about walking into a space that feels fully considered—where every detail has been thoughtfully brought together.
